Compress PDF to 50 KB
50 KB is a very tight limit, and it usually means a single page: a certificate, an ID proof or a fee receipt. Drop in your PDF and it comes back under 50 KB at the best quality that still fits.
Runs in your browser. Your file is not uploaded and nothing is stored.
Target: under 50 KB.

What fits at this size
| What you are uploading | Fits in 50 KB? |
|---|---|
| One page typed in Word and saved as PDF | Usually yes, often with text still selectable |
| One-page black-and-white scan | Usually, as an image page; check the small print |
| One-page colour scan with a photo or seal | Sometimes; colour detail is the first thing lost |
| Three or more scanned pages | Rarely readable; upload only the page the form asks for |
Before you submit
- At its smallest setting the tool draws each page about 600 pixels tall or wide. Below that, text stops being readable, which is why a multi-page scan cannot be squeezed into 50 KB and still be read.
- Keep only the page the form asks for. The Page Extractor pulls one page out of a longer PDF before you compress it.
- A PDF that is already under 50 KB is returned unchanged, so you never lose quality for nothing.

Common Questions
A short typed document sometimes can. A scan usually cannot: expect one page, occasionally two. Split the file or upload the pages separately if the form allows it.
You get the smallest version it could make, with its size shown. Remove pages, or rescan in grayscale at a lower resolution, then try again.
It varies, so the tool aims about 3% under the upper limit and, where there is a lower limit, just above it in 1,024-byte KB. The file is accepted either way.
