Common problems & how to fix them
PDF page numbers here count every physical page, not the printed number shown on the page. Reopen the original file, recount from the first page, and re-enter the correct numbers.
An encrypted PDF cannot be edited until it is unlocked. Open it with the password in your PDF reader, save an unprotected copy, and then load that copy into the tool.
Scroll through the whole document first and write down the numbers of the empty pages. Then remove those specific pages so no real content is lost.
Nothing changes your original file, so just start again with the untouched PDF and enter the page numbers more carefully this time.
Make sure the file is a genuine PDF and not a renamed image or document. If it was exported from another program, re-save or re-export it as a PDF and try again.
Instead of listing every page to delete, note the few you want to keep and remove all the others. This is quicker for documents with only a handful of useful pages.
