Common problems & how to fix them
An encrypted PDF cannot be read until it is unlocked. Open it in your PDF reader, enter the password, and save an unlocked copy, then convert that copy.
Blurriness usually comes from a low-resolution source page. Try PNG instead of JPG for text and line art, and make sure the original PDF was not already a low-quality scan.
The tool creates one image per page, so a multi-page PDF produces multiple files. Use the ZIP download to collect them all, or select only the pages you need.
Confirm the file is an actual PDF and not a renamed document. If it is a scanned image saved with a PDF extension it should still work, but corrupted files will not convert.
This is expected. Converting to JPG or PNG produces a picture of the page, so the text becomes part of the image and is no longer selectable or searchable.
A ZIP is a standard compressed folder. On desktop, right-click and extract it; on a phone, use your files app to open the archive and access the images inside.
