Mutual Fund CAS PDF Password & Unlock
A Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) of your mutual funds and demat holdings is a password-protected PDF, but who set the password depends on where it came from. Find yours below, then type it to save a copy that opens without one.
The password format
| Statement | Password | Example |
|---|---|---|
| CAMS + KFintech CAS, requested on camsonline.com | The password you typed in the request form | Whatever you chose |
| KFintech CAS, requested on mfs.kfintech.com | The password you set when requesting it | Whatever you chose |
| NSDL e-CAS, emailed by NSDL | PAN of the first or sole holder in CAPITAL letters | ABCDE1234F |
Checked against the issuer's own pages on 9 October 2026.
The tool removes a password only when you type the correct one. It does not guess or crack passwords. The PDF and the password stay in your browser.
Before you unlock it
- A CAMS or KFintech statement has no fixed format: it is the password you entered when you asked for it. If you have forgotten it, request a new statement with a new password.
- The NSDL e-CAS is also digitally signed. A copy saved without the password may no longer show that signature as valid, so keep the original email attachment.
- Once unlocked, the statement shows all your holdings to anyone with the file. Keep it somewhere private.
