e-PAN Card PDF Password & Unlock
An e-PAN downloaded from Protean (formerly NSDL) or UTIITSL opens with your date of birth written as eight digits, day first: DDMMYYYY. For a company or firm, UTIITSL uses the date of incorporation. Type it below to save a copy that opens without a password.

Before you unlock it
- Type eight digits with a leading zero for single-digit days and months, and no slashes, dashes or spaces: 5 March 1998 is 05031998.
- UTIITSL uses the date as mentioned in your PAN application form, so check that date if the password is rejected.
- The Instant e-PAN from the income tax e-filing portal is not covered here: its official guide does not state a password.
